|Recommended: YesEnjoyed my time at the Fifty — Location is nice. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Never had any excessive noise issues from neighbors, other than the common hallways I could hear people walking in the hallways and doors shutting as if my door was open, but I rarely heard anything from actual neighbors sharing walls to either side, above or below me. A bit of street noise, but nothing too excessive. The apartment itself was nice clean construction and nice appliances. Storage was a bit limited in the kitchen area, but workable.
Overall, I enjoyed the 15 months spent at the Fifty.

|Recommended: YesGreat inside, location is very loud — I loved my individual unit--felt large and airy, nice appliances, great insulation on either side from neighboring units. For an apartment with this square footage, W D and AC, and in this area, a great deal for the price. The cleaning staff did a great job keeping the inside of the building clean. The location was great apart from the noise--Division is very loud with lots of traffic, and was the spot for street racing donuts every Sunday one time at 3 30 in the morning . There were lots of unhoused folks all around the building. Lots of unsocialized untrained dogs in the building who stressed out my dog. No mask compliance from most of neighbors and no enforcement unfortunately. The parking situation is awful--before I rented a spot in the parking garage it was really hard to find a spot in the vicinity. The hallway noise is not insulated in the unit, which was a problem as the bedroom area is right off the front door. Overall, the usual problems with an apartment building, most of which aren't the fault of the building. Moving because of the street noise primarily. Would recommend because of what you get for the price.

|Recommended: YesGreat Location and Minimal Noise — Due to work I’ve been in over 7 different apartments in 5 years and this is the first place I’ll call home for more than 2 years. It can be a little noisy but nothing compared to what I’ve seen. Great location and the cleanliness is pretty impeccable for my standards.

|Recommended: YesThe Fifty Treated Us Right — My wife and I really enjoyed our short time at The Fifty. Management worked very hard to make sure our needs were met, and we had a great overall experience while residing in our apartment. The building is clean and well maintained, the facility folks always friendly and accommodating - parking in the lot was a breeze, and street parking worked well for us initially as well.
I have to say, Andrew was instrumental in making our stay so lovely. From the day Andrew helped us sign our virtual documents - all the way to our departure - he was there with a welcoming energy that made us feel at home, knowing we would be taken care of. And you will be too if you - give The Fifty a tour if you're new to Portland or, like us, local relocating. We will miss The Fifty and Andrew

|Recommended: YesWe will miss this place — We rented at the Fifty for 7 months and are definitely going to miss this place. The natural light in the apartments facing south is amazing. The appliances in the apartment were great and the space was just what we needed at the time. We are really sad we outgrew the place because we enjoyed it so much. We loved the neighborhood and the character it has. Street parking was easy to find 99 of the time. We didn't get to use the top patio much because of COVID-19, but it has really amazing views. You're in walking distance from Mt. Tabor and there is a nice French bakery just across the street. The only down side was that in the summer months the back of the apartment got a little warm, but we got a small fan to cool it down. Andrew is also a great building manager, and we highly recommend this apartment building to anyone looking for a nice place in South East Portland
